A participatory photographer, photographing while engaging in struggles for justice, peace, and environmental integrity, Skip Schiel makes photos for publications, exhibits, slide shows, and individual use. He is currently in the post production phase of a 15 month journey inspired by a pilgrimage of the Middle Passage, retracing the route of the Atlantic slave trade.
